When I turned 3, I got an operation done, miraculously helped and I could now hear and speak. But I lacked communication skills, I hated myself for the disability I had. During the high school I had no friends, students would make fun of me, I was unable to talk properly. All this made me hate life, and I wanted to give up on it. When one day, as I sat in silence I thought about all the good that had happened to me, in spite of all the struggles. I completed college and had gone into Nottingham Trent University. That day, I thanked God for all that He had blessed me with, a loving family, success, and the ability to do something amazing in life. I resolved to look beyond the imperfections of life and now I have a positive outlook. This is what brought me back from the brink of ending my life.
